Fuelled by a lifelong passion for creativity and organization, Yara finds joy in every aspect of her work. From meticulously coordinating logistics to infusing events with vibrant colors and unique styles, she approaches each project with enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Yara's journey into the world of events began with her studies in Leisure and Events Management, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experiences. Working alongside industry leaders like Best Events Co., she cultivated a deep understanding of event planning and management, refining her craft to perfection. Today, with MOAYA, Yara seamlessly blends her academic knowledge with real-world expertise to deliver exceptional experiences.

The birth of Moaya Events

Yara's wanderlust has always fueled her desire to explore the world, immersing herself in diverse cultures and landscapes. Having lived in Tanzania, the Netherlands, and Bali, each adventure has shaped her worldview and enriched her appreciation for life.

Her journey eventually led her to the enchanting world of French weddings, where she found her calling. It was here that the idea for MOAYA was born—a fusion of her own name, Yara Ramona, with elements from the Swahili and Indonesian languages, both of which hold a special place in her heart.

"Moya," from Swahili meaning soul or spirit, and "Maya," from Indonesian for "magic," beautifully embody the essence of her business. MOAYA represents more than just a name—it embodies innovation, creativity, and exploration.

With MOAYA, Yara brings together her love for travel, her appreciation for different cultures, and her passion for creativity and innovation. Each event she curates is a reflection of her diverse experiences and her commitment to creating unforgettable moments.

What services do you offer?

We offer a variety of wedding and event services - such as bespoke Wedding Planning, organization and execution of Elopements, Content Creation during your wedding day(s), Styling & Design Service of your event, or Vendor Searches, such as venues, caterers, photographers,... Take a look at 'Our Services' or contact us directly. If you cannot find exactly what you are looking for, we are happy to also tailor our services exactly to your needs!

How far in advance should we book your services?

The ideal booking timeframe varies depending on the service and your individual needs. For bespoke Wedding Planning, we recommend booking at least 12 months before your envisioned wedding date to ensure ample time for thorough planning. Elopements, being smaller in scale, typically require less planning time, but securing vendors 12-6 months in advance is advisable. For services such as Vendor Search, Styling & Design, and Content Creation, we can typically start immediately if we are available.

Can we customize our package to fit our specific needs?

Of course! We are more than happy to tailor our services to your specific needs. Simply send us your request along with a few details, and we'll be happy to discuss everything further during our first personal meeting.

Do you also do destination weddings?

Yes, that is our specialty! While we are based in France and primarily serve international clients seeking exquisite weddings in this enchanting country, we are also open to exploring and arranging weddings in other destinations worldwide

Do you provide on-the-day coordination?

Absolutely! Our bespoke Wedding Planning Service includes on-the-day coordination for your event, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. If you're a meticulous planner and already have everything organized and well-planned out, entrusting someone else with the responsibility and coordination on your special day is also an option we can accommodate. We'll work closely with you to ensure that every detail is accounted for and coordinated professionally, allowing you to relax and enjoy your celebration to the fullest.

Are you available for consultations before we book your services?

Yes, we typically schedule an initial call to get to know each other better, discuss your vision for the event, and ensure that we're a perfect match for bringing your vision to life. Following this, we proceed with finalizing the agreement to move forward with the planning process.
